JOB POSTINGS FOR THE 2010 CAMPING SEASON

If you are interested in meeting people, and enjoy camping this can be a rewarding summer adventure. Time requirements vary at different campgrounds.

 

Requirements:

 
You must have your own accommodation unit.
You will not be automatically disqualified for the position if you do not
have an accommodation unit. We MAY be able to make arrangements
on an individual basis.
 
You must be physically able to perform the duties outlined below.
 

Benefits:

 
Free camping for the season.
Firewood supplied for personal use.
Propane supplied for your accommodation unit.
Keep money generated from recyclables collected.
Monthly Salary
(Varies depending on campground size)
Additional Salary for campgrounds with maintenance duties included.
Rocky Mountain Camping disposes of refuse bins. All cleaning and
maintenance supplies are provided.
 

Duties:

 
Compliance - Confirm site registration, collect fee envelopes when required and record keeping.
Public Relations - Provides information to guests
and communicates with Conservation Officers.
Firewood Sales - Firewood is supplied on-site by Rocky Mountain Camping. Campground Managers are responsible for sales of firewood at specified times and/or throughout the day, where applicable.
Site Maintenance - Sites must be inspected regularly. Duties include clearing any garbage/debris on site, cleaning fire pits, etc...
General Maintenance - All heavy maintenance work will be done by Rocky Mountain Camping. You may be required to perform small maintenance chores.
Bathroom Cleaning - Bathrooms are pressure washed regularly by maintenance contractors. Spot cleaning may be required as Campground Managers must ensure bathrooms are clean and maintained throughout the day.
